Spooky Dooky Challenge at Tiddly Inks

This is the last week of October so what better way to celebrate than with Tiddly Inks' Spooky Dooky Challenge. I can't believe Halloween is this coming weekend! Where did October go?

Here is my make using Betty Belfrey and spider web digital paper from Spooky Birthday.

I was inspired by the colors in this wreath that I finally made for my front door. I bought the deco mesh ribbon last year but never got around to making it for Halloween. Long overdue but so happy I finally got that project completed!

Anywho... back to my project... I started out printing off the spider web digital paper that came with the Spooky Birthday image and sized it at 5" square so it would fit nicely on a 5.25" square card base. Then, I lined all of the webs with glossy accents. It looks really cool in person and gives the web some dimension.

I colored Betty Belfrey with Copics and heat embossed the sentiment with Versamark and white embossing powder onto a black strip of cardstock. Both are popped up with foam tape.

Congratulations on New Puppy

Hey! It's Fabby Friday today over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog. Here's my make to get your creative juices flowing for the weekend... using Silver I am Sorry.

How can you get mad at this little fellow?? My boss just welcomed a new Goldendoodle puppy named Marley into her home and having two puppies myself, you can pretty much count on all of the landscaping being torn to shreds - at least that's what they did at our house.

He's colored up with Copics and a few dabs of glossy accents add a little shine to his wet nose and the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by!

You're a Lifesaver

Here's a card I've been meaning to share for a while now using the Tiny Heroes stamp set from Mama Elephant. I practiced masking the images before blending on distress inks to create a little scene. I created this card for one of our dog sitters for when she watched our two pups - Piper & Riley.

Have a great rest of the week!! More inspiration will be coming your way on Friday! Thanks for stopping by!!

Scootin' By with Fall Colors

Hi everyone! Today, the design team and I are bringing you lots of inspiration for the next Tiddly Inks Challenge - Fall Colors! We want to see how you use the following color combo:

We just recently purchased a used car from the Honda dealer so I wanted to send our salesman a surprise thank you card. He happens to be a very nice guy and a member of our church. I thought Wryn Scooting By would be the perfect fit with the included sentiment and all. I added the "to say thanks" font on my computer when I printed out the digital image.

To add a little interest and dimension, I stacked the stitched leaves (which are inked up with wild honey, spiced marmalade, ripe persimmon, and aged mahogany distress inks) with foam tape and glue dots. The entire panel is also secured to the card base with foam tape. Here's the inside with a few more leaves thrown in...

In this next photo, hopefully you can see the glossy accents on the dog's goggles, the headlight and tail light, and in the centers of the flowers.

I can't wait to see how you are inspired by our Fall colors challenge theme. Don't forget to link up your card here and also share it on the Tiddly Inks Facebook page!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Fabby Friday Bunny Belated Birthday Wishes

TGIF, everyone!! We have some fabulous inspiration for you over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog to get you going for the weekend. Today, I'm showcasing a project using the newly released Mini and Many Friends set. It was hard to pick which ones to use because they are all so adorable!!

I used Mini Bunny for this card because the recipient I had in mind loves bunnies and I owe her a belated birthday card. Here is the inside:

I colored it up with Copics and decided to keep the card base neutral with the pop of turquoise polka dots behind each of the tags. Everything is popped up with dimensionals and micro glue dots. Here's a close-up:

I hope we've inspired you to be crafty this weekend - and hopefully you've had a chance to grab some of the new releases too. You can even get a freebie new release here. Have a wonderful weekend!!

Thanks for stopping by!!
