Tiddly Inks Challenge #175: Love

Hi, everyone! Today we are kicking off a new love challenge over on the Tiddly Inks challenge blog. Here's my make using Wryn - Have Heart from a tutorial found on My Creative Scoop. I absolutely fell in love with Mindy's card and had to try her technique for myself.

The hanging hearts in the background is a border image that comes with Wryn - Heartfelt Love. I colored the image and then masked it all off before stamping the grunge background. After taking the time to color my image, this made me really nervous because I was afraid that I would mess it all up. I was surprised at how easy it ended up and I really do love the way it came out.

Glossy accents glammed up the hearts. I also planned out which colors of distress ink I was going to use and chose Copics that would coordinate thanks to this handy free chart I found online.

To make it my own, I also created a fun frame by welding two rectangles together with a cursive love cut out. I layered the frame twice and then added two more layers of love on top to add some dimension.

I hope you enjoyed this card today and I hope it not only provides inspiration but gives you the courage to try something new. Don't forget to checkout the projects from the other talented ladies on the design team and link up your project here for a chance to win a store credit!
