Fabulous Friday at Tiddly Inks

Hi, everyone! Do you know what today is? It's Fabby Friday over on the Tiddly Inks blog! The design team has been hard at work to provide you with lots of wonderful ideas and inspiration today.

Here's my card:

Believe it or not, I started out using Deconstructed Sketch #164 as inspiration for my design but I couldn't get it to feel quite right so I slept on it and came up with another idea to create a background using the emboss resist technique and distress inks.

This card was for my son's pre-school teacher - since he recently moved up to the next classroom - and the use of primary colors with a sentiment stamped background did just the right trick.

Tiddly Inks has lots of back-to-school type images and School Girl was a great find in the bargain bin. I only colored part of the image with my Copics to save time since it's tucked behind the die cut frame. Diamond Stickles also give the ribbon on her hat a little sparkle. I normally leave the inside of my cards blank but for a change, I decided to add a notebook edge border and a die cut apple with an inside sentiment.

I hope we have inspired you to create a fab project today. Come join us over on Facebook and share your creation so we can all have a peak into your crafty awesomeness!!
