Happy Fall Y'all
Hello! Today we are kicking off a new challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and the theme is Happy Fall Y'all. When I got my hands on the new releases, I knew Halloweeny Molly would be the perfect image for this challenge.
Tiddly Inks: Halloweeny Molly
I started by coloring the stitched leaves with my Zig markers. To get those light splotch marks after the ink was dry, I flicked water onto them using my mini mister spray bottle. Patting them with a paper towel removed the ink in those areas.
Once I had my leaves done and Molly colored up with Copics, I struggled with the layout of the card. I finally decided to use a dark brown card base and a stencil with distress inks to create the lighter brown scalloped rectangle layer. The leaves are secured with glue dots and a few with foam tape for added dimension.
To incorporate a sentiment on the card front, I decided to layer a few leaves behind the image and stamp a small "hello" on the larger leaf. A coat of clear Wink of Stella added some sparkle to the pumpkin costume.
Now it's your turn! Link up your Happy Fall Ya'll projects here and be inspired. The design team really did a fabulous job with this challenge!! Thanks for stopping by!
