Happy Belated Anniversary Spinner Card

Hello, friends! Today I am sharing a belated anniversary card that I made for my Aunt Rita and Uncle Stone. We are actually spending the weekend with them right now so in order to not disrupt the surprise, I am posting this later in the day than usual.

I started with a Stephanie Bernard flip-it die to create the scalloped card base. Then I die cut a circle through the "flip-it" component in order to suspend the little squirrel holding a heart.

The images are from the Mama Elephant Woodland Gifts stamp set and I used the coordinating dies. After coloring them with Copics, I secured them to the card base with glue dots and foam tape.

The white layers were run through my Sizzix hearts embossing folder to provide some additional dimension. To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat set it with platinum embossing powder which creates a beautiful shine.

I do hope this Haystack Cards creation will bring joy to my aunt and uncle as they continue the anniversary celebration. My aunt loves to craft so I'm thinking I might bring the supplies I used to make this card so she can CASE it. Hahaha!!

We are so looking forward to our visit with them this weekend!! Thanks for stopping by!!
