Christmas Penguins: Kit and Clowder October Monthly Markers Class

Hi, everyone!! Today, I am sharing my finished piece from Kit & Clowder's October Monthly Markers Class. These classes have encouraged me to work on my coloring skills and to learn new techniques.

I just LOVE how these adorable penguins turned out and although there were times when I thought I had screwed things up, it all came together in the end. Who knew adding black colored pencil on top of green marker would give the tree so much texture... and adding white pencil on top of the blue window panels would give the illusion of snow falling outside. These elements really finished off the image.

Kit and Clowder offer reasonably-priced monthly project classes for both mediums for all skill levels, even if you are beginner colorist. And you also receive lifetime access to your classes!! How cool is that!!??!!??

I highly recommend you give it a go if you are interested in learning to color with markers or colored pencils. If you do decide to try out a class -- even if it's a freebie class that they offer -- I would really appreciate the referral. It's really quite easy to do during the checkout process.

Thanks for stopping by!!
